  The staff are some of the most rude and disrespectful people I’ve ever had to deal with. First of all, we adopted a little black kitten, we had him about three months and then he just died. No reason. Just literally stopped breathing. I went in and talked to a lady at the desk and she told me I had to contact a higher up since it’s past a month. I did this and she didn’t answer so I left a message. No call back for a week. I call again and leave yet another voicemail. At this point it’s been at least four weeks since the first call. I wasn’t asking for a refund, I just simply want a voucher so we could get another kitten or even a dog down the line. Yet I get nothing. Not even a call saying sorry but there’s nothing we can do. After this I still wanna support them so we found a cute little corgi, i get a call telling me we can go get him. We get there and get the buzzer. We are waiting an hour, and then we get buzzed up. I am told we can’t have him because he can’t be adopted into an apartment because he barks. Alright fine I guess. I got back the next day to try to get him because he can stay at my parents house until we find a house. I was talked down to by the man behind the counter. He acted like a child and kept repeating you told us you lived in an apartment so no and honestly I wouldn’t have gotten upset if he would have explained and talked to me normally.

  I called about a big black dog walking around in the pouring rain off 30th Hamilton Street. Which is a busy street. I was told the Humane Society would not do any thing about it that they were not taking calls tonight for that. I couldn't believe it. Poor dog could get ran over or he could be cold and hungry lost from his family and the humane society is too lazy to go help him. I hope those who donate money to this shelter realize that they never want to do half the stuff they can to help dogs that are in danger.
